PFT/Body Composition Update: WHtR Standard Clarified
The Marine Corps updated the waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) standard for body composition: the pass threshold is 0.52 or below, for all Marines regardless of sex. This replaces an earlier version of MARADMIN 066/26.

Effective 1 January 2026, the Marine Corps replaced the semiannual height and weight screening with a waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) standard. This applies to all Marines, active and reserve, and changes how body composition is evaluated, documented, and reported on fitness reports.

Your All-Weather Coat may be defective. Sales are suspended now.
A manufacturing defect in some All-Weather Coats causes an orange substance to bleed from the fabric when wet. All AWC sales and new issue are suspended immediately while HQMC works out a replacement process.
