TECOM put out a short correction to MARADMIN 467/26, which listed available AI and data management training resources. One URL in that bulletin was wrong. Everything else in that message, and in the mandatory Basic AI Course requirement from MARADMIN 214/26, stays the same.
Heads up: If you saved the old Warfighting Acquisition University link, update it to
https://www.waru.edu/
Who it affects
Anyone who read MARADMIN 467/26 and grabbed that Warfighting Acquisition University (WarU) link. That includes all Marines working toward the mandatory Basic AI Course completion required under MARADMIN 214/26. Reserve and active component alike.
What you need to do
If you bookmarked or shared the old WarU link, replace it with the corrected one:
https://www.waru.edu/
That site covers AI topics from basic concepts through testing applications, aimed at the defense acquisition workforce. If you never tried the old link, just use the one above going forward.
Key dates
- No new deadlines in this message. Existing deadlines from MARADMIN 214/26 (mandatory Basic AI Course) and MARADMIN 467/26 remain in effect. Check those messages or your S-1 for specifics.
The official version
MARADMIN 472/26 is the source. It corrects paragraph 3e of MARADMIN 467/26. The broader AI framework lives in MCO 5231.4 and the USMC AI Implementation Plan.
