The Marine Corps updated its FY27 Total Force Integration Staff Training (TFIST) course plan. The original MARADMIN (217/26) didn't allow enlisted AR SNCOs into Basic TFIST. This change fixes that, opening the door for AR E-6s and E-7s to attend, with a cap of 50% of available seats per course.
Bottom line: AR Staff Sergeants and Gunnery Sergeants are now eligible for Basic TFIST. Contact the POCs below to register.
Who it affects
This applies only to the AR program. Specifically, AR SNCOs in grades E-6 (Staff Sergeant) and E-7 (Gunnery Sergeant) who need or want Basic TFIST before moving to the Advanced course.
