The Marine Corps released Change 1 to the FY27 Selective Retention Bonus (SRB) program, updating bonus amounts for a specific set of MOS across Zones A, B, and C. If you have an Expiration of Current Contract (ECC) between 1 October 2026 and 30 September 2027, the numbers in the original program message may no longer be accurate for your MOS.
Heads up: This MARADMIN explicitly does not apply to the Marine Corps Reserve.
Who it affects
Active component enlisted Marines with an ECC between 1 Oct 2026 and 30 Sep 2027 who are eligible to reenlist in one of the MOS listed below. Reserve Marines (SMCR, IMA, IRR) are not affected. This MARADMIN states plainly: it does not apply to the Marine Corps Reserve.

If you are active component and your MOS appears below, compare the updated amounts to what you were quoted under MARADMIN 023/26 before you sign anything. Talk to your career retention specialist with the current numbers in hand.

Lateral move change for 1721: The 84-month lateral move (LM) kicker for Marines reenlisting into 1721 is gone. Zone A Marines doing an LM into 1721 are also no longer eligible for the associated PMOS bonus. All other LM bonuses from the original message remain in effect.
