New SharePoint pages centralize irregular warfare lessons learned

MARADMIN 532/26·October 28, 2026·1 min read·Official source

HQMC Training and Education has announced two new SharePoint pages consolidating irregular warfare and competition (IW/C) resources. One is run by the Marine Corps Center for Lessons Learned (MCCLL) and pulls together after-action reports, topic discussions, and related documents. The other is run by the Ground Combat Element Division (GCED) under CD&I and houses directives, policies, and force development guidance. Both are on NIPRNET and accessible to all Marines.

Heads up: These are reference pages, not a tasker. No action required, but they're worth bookmarking if you work in training, doctrine, planning, or anything IW-adjacent.

Who it affects

This applies to the Total Force, including SMCR, IMA, and IRR Marines. It's most relevant to those working in training, doctrine, planning, operations, or leadership roles where IW/C context is useful. That said, any Marine can access these pages.

What you need to do

Nothing required. These are awareness and reference resources. If your work touches IW, competition, or force development, the pages are worth a look.

Key dates

No deadline. The pages are live now.
