FY27 Logistics Education Program course catalog is out

MARADMIN 531/26·October 28, 2026·3 min read·Official source

Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group (MCLOG) has released the FY27 Logistics Education Program (LEP) catalog. It covers every course MCLOG manages for joint and Marine logistics education, including schedules, eligibility requirements, funding status, and how nominations work. Reserve Marines in logistics and intelligence MOSs are explicitly eligible for several of these courses.

Heads up: Most LEP courses are unit-funded, nominations open roughly 90 days before each course start, and the window to nominate is only 30 days.

Who it affects

Primarily logistics and intelligence MOS holders, but eligibility varies by course:

  • AXLOC (Advanced Expeditionary Logistics Operations Course): O-4 to O-5 officers and E-8 to E-9 SNCOs with PMOS 0402, 0491, 1302, 1371, 3002, 3043, or 3537. Must be career-level PME complete, hold an active SECRET clearance with SIPR token, and have at least one year of obligated service remaining after course completion. Reserve Marines are not listed as excluded, but this course is TECOM FY27 funded for active duty only. Reserve attendance would require unit funding.

  • LIPC (Logistic Intelligence Planners Course): O-1 to O-3 and E-4 to E-8 intel and information warfare professionals, MOS 0202, 0203, 0207, 0211, 0231, 0241, or 0261. Active Duty, Reserve, civilian, and interagency students are explicitly encouraged to apply. Requires active TS/SCI clearance and SIPR token. TECOM FY27 funded for active duty; Reserve Marines would need unit funding.

  • Railhead Operations Group Training Course (RHOG-TC): Open to active duty and Reserve Marines. Forty students max per iteration, unit-funded.

Other courses exist in the full catalog (the MARADMIN was truncated here). Check the MCLOG SharePoint for the complete list.

What you need to do

If a course looks like a fit, the process works like this:

  1. Watch for the calling message on the MCLOG SharePoint (released approximately 90 days before the course start, on the first of the month via AMHS).
  2. Submit your nomination within the 30-day window that follows. It closes on the first of the next month, roughly 60 days before course start.
  3. Expect notification of selection or non-selection within 15 days after the nomination window closes.
  4. For RHOG-TC specifically, email nominations to MCLOBB_RAILOPERATIONS@USMC.MIL, ANTONIO.FLORES3@USMC.MIL, and ZACHARY.BAKER@USMC.MIL no later than 15 days before course start. Include rank, MOS, gender (for billeting), DOD ID, duty status (Active or Reserve), unit and billet, and supervisor contact info.

Early nominations are accepted even before a calling message is released. If you cannot access the SharePoint, contact the LEP registrar directly.

Confirm funding with your unit S-1 and chain of command before nominating. Most courses are unit-funded. Reserve Marines attending TECOM-funded courses will almost certainly need a unit funding source.
