Maven Smart System is now available to all Marine Corps commands, including MARFORRES

MARADMIN 505/26·October 20, 2026·2 min read·Official source

The Marine Corps announced that Maven Smart System (MSS), a government-owned AI platform that integrates strategic, operational, and tactical data across all Joint functions, is now available to all Marine Corps commands on all applicable networks. The enterprise license took effect 1 October 2026 and is unlimited. Marine Forces Reserve Command was specifically added to the covered units list in this MARADMIN, so reserve commands and their subordinate echelons are in.

Heads up: MARFORRES and its subordinate commands are now covered under the MSS enterprise license. If your command hasn't designated an implementation lead yet, that's the first thing to sort out.

Who it affects

All Marine Corps commands and organizations, including MARFORRES and subordinate reserve commands. Any assigned or attached personnel at any echelon within covered commands can request an MSS account on networks they're already authorized to access. This applies to SMCR units and IMAs under the MARFORRES umbrella.

What you need to do

There's no individual Marine action required right now, but commands have specific tasks:

  1. Designate an MSS implementation lead for your organization.
  2. Identify your counterparts at higher and subordinate echelons.
  3. Flag-level commands: report your designated MSS implementation lead to Project Dynamis/TF Maven for coordination and support.

For account creation, available training, workflow integration, and field service representative support, a detailed addendum was published via AMHS message 091857Z Oct 26 (subject: MAVEN SMART SYSTEM (MSS) IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE TO MARINE CORPS ON ALL NETWORKS (01 OCT 2026)).
