MARADMIN 449/26 announces available seats at the Joint Forces Staff College (JFSC) Joint Combined Warfighting School (JCWS) for AY 2026-2027. The school offers JPME II credit through a 10-week resident course and a 40-week hybrid course. Both options are open to officers O-4 through O-6 and SNCOs E-7 through E-9. The catch for reservists: this MARADMIN explicitly states it does not apply to the Marine Corps Reserve.
Heads up: This MARADMIN is not applicable to the Reserve component. A separate POC handles JPME matters for reservists.
Who it affects
This MARADMIN is written for active component Marines. It does not govern Reserve participation in JCWS. That said, if you are a Reserve officer (O-4 to O-6) or SNCO (E-7 to E-9) interested in attending JCWS for JPME II credit, the Reserve-specific channel exists and is listed below.

They can tell you what quotas, prerequisites, and nomination timelines apply to the Reserve component. Your unit S-1 or S-3 may also have visibility on Reserve JCWS allocations through MARFORRES.
