MCCS launched a new mobile app called MCCS Connect that pulls all their services into one platform. Instead of juggling multiple apps or websites to find gym hours, childcare info, or base maps, it's all in one place. Reservists who live or work near an installation, or whose families use MCCS services, can get some use out of this.
Heads up: This is an awareness item, not a policy change. No action is required.
Who it affects
All Marines and their families. Reservists who access MCCS services at an installation (fitness centers, lodging, recreation, childcare) or whose families do will find this most useful.
What you need to do
Nothing required. If you want the app, download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or go to https://www.usmc-mccs.org/mccsconnect.
Features available now:
- Interactive base maps
- Real-time installation alerts and operational updates
- Events calendars (fitness classes, workshops, community events)
- Directories with hours, phone numbers, and service details for MCCS programs
Features coming later include online payments, event scheduling, and lodging booking.
Send feedback to mccsconnect@usmc-mccs.org.
Key dates
No deadline. The app is available now.
