DC I&L is putting together the March 2027 Marine Corps Gazette Installations and Logistics issue and wants submissions from across the force. The call is open to anyone with something to say about the future of logistics: active, reserve, civilian, or contractor. If you have ideas on how the Corps sustains the force in a contested environment, this is the venue.
Heads up: Most submission deadlines in this MARADMIN have already passed as of publication. Check with the POCs below before investing time in a draft.
Who it affects
Anyone with logistics expertise or ideas worth sharing. No restriction on component, rank, or MOS. Reserve logistics Marines, IMA billets in I&L shops, and anyone working installations or sustainment issues are exactly the audience DC I&L is after.
What you need to do
If you want to submit an article, here is the process in order:
- Pick one or more of the eight focus areas (see below) and develop a clear thesis.
- Prepare a cover page with your article title or thesis, the relevant line of effort, your name/rank/billet, email, mailing address, and a synopsis of 150 words or fewer. No page number on the cover page.
- Format your draft in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman 12pt, double-spaced, 1,500 to 3,000 words, with the title as a header and centered page numbers as a footer.
- Submit via the online form or email the POCs directly (links and contacts below).

- Digital logistics: AI and data for decisive advantage
