MCU's Educational Technology Department is running the 6th Annual Marine Corps eLearning Ecosystem (MCeLE) Virtual Workshop this September. It's a virtual event for training managers, learning professionals, academic officers, and anyone who uses MCeLE tools across the total force. If you or your unit has done something interesting with eLearning, they want to hear about it.

Heads up: Presentation submissions are due August 21, 2026, and selected presenters are notified by August 28.

Who it affects

This is aimed at reservists (and any DoD personnel) who work in training management, distance education, or eLearning development. Think: unit training officers, academic officers, MCI administrators, or anyone who has built or improved a training program using MCeLE tools. If that's not your lane, this one probably doesn't apply to you.

What you need to do

If you want to submit a presentation, you have three format options:

  1. A video (five minutes max)
  2. A one-page abstract
  3. A PowerPoint presentation

Submit through: https://meeting.mcele.usmc.mil/e5ejwa8j6f0k/event/event_info.html

If you're not submitting, nothing to do. The workshop itself is virtual and open to participants across the total force.

Key dates

  • 21 Aug 2026: Submission deadline
  • 28 Aug 2026: Selected presenters notified by email
  • 21-24 Sept 2026: Virtual workshop
