GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  This MARADMIN announces changes to the selection

board convene date, the junior in-zone officer eligible for 

selection, the promotion selection rank, and opt-in deadline.

2.  The lineal control number of the junior in-zone for the FY26

Legal Counsel to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS)

Selection Board in reference (a), paragraph 4.a., is changed to

read as follows:

In Zone:

Junior Officer In-Zone - Col Gibson, Robert A.

                         DOR 01 Apr 24

                         LCN 20068000

3.  This selection board is now scheduled to convene on or about 29

April 2026, at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

4.   This Legal Counsel to CJCS selection will be a promotion to

major general.

5.  The OPT-IN deadline has been extended to 3 April 2026.  Due to

the Joint nature of this board, eligible officers should contact

MMPB-10 to notify of any changes made to their record after the

OPT-IN deadline of 3 April 2026 to ensure those changes are appropr-

iately reflected in the joint selection boardroom.  Officers are

encouraged to submit their correspondence concurrently with their

OPT-IN request or NLT 2359 Friday, 17 April 2026 to ensure timely

submission in accordance with section 156 of reference (a).

Correspondence arriving after this date will not be seen by the

board.
