The Marine Corps has announced the FY27 Aviation Transition Conversion (TC) Board, which will convene on or about 4 May 2026. This board lets active duty Marine aviators and NFOs apply to transition to a different platform or program. Applications are due 20 April 2026.
Heads up: This MARADMIN explicitly does not apply to the Marine Corps Reserve.
Who it affects
No reservists. Paragraph 6 of the MARADMIN states plainly: "This MARADMIN is not applicable to the Marine Corps Reserve." This summary is posted for awareness only, in case you have active duty counterparts who need to know.
What you need to do
Nothing. If you are SMCR, IMA, or IRR, this board does not apply to you. If you know active duty aviators or NFOs who may be eligible, point them to the MARADMIN and the POCs below.
