GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Purpose. This message announces updates and

changes to ref (b), MARADMIN 053/26. This event is modified from an

Operational Advisory Group (OAG) to a “Symposium.” All references to

"OAG" within ref (b) is changed to "Symposium." DIRINT will host an

OAG in the fall and details will be sent out separately for the Fall

OAG. Also, updated is paragraph 4.a. and will read as follows:

Symposium attendees must be cleared for SI/TK/HCS/G/KLM/KLM-R to

enable unescorted access to the MCIA facilities. Send SC

and Collateral visit request via DISS to SMO code: MS51223 NLT

6 April 2026. Identify "MCISRE ESC Symposium" as the purpose for

the visit. Reminder: if you are not read into previously mentioned

caveats, please see your SSO to gain access to ensure unescorted

access within MCIA. Cell phones and other portable electronic

devices (PED) are prohibited in the building. PED storage is

limited, and is only located within the MCIA garage and not

available near the building. It is recommended you leave all items

in your vehicle.

2. All other instructions and details contained in ref (b), MARADMIN

053/26, remain in effect.

3. Release authorized by Lieutenant General J. A. Matos,

Headquarters Marine Corps, Deputy Commandant for Information.//

This is the foundational charter document describing how the Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Enterprise governance process works. It provides the authority and framework under which the ESC Symposium is organized.

  • This is the original message that MARADMIN 108/26 amends. Most of the event details, instructions, and logistics for the Spring 2026 MCISRE ESC Symposium remain in that message, so attendees need to read both together.
