The Marine Corps has 30 seats at the CY26 FedEx Joint Global Logistics Operations Summit (JGLOS), held 4-8 May 2026 at FedEx World Headquarters in Memphis, TN. Selected Marines will tour FedEx operational hubs, sit in on leadership presentations, and dig into commercial logistics concepts covering everything from supply chain and maintenance to robotics and autonomous systems. The goal is straightforward: expose experienced Marine logisticians to how large-scale commercial aviation logistics actually runs, and let that inform how the Marine Corps does it.

Heads up: Nominations close 25 March 2026, and there are only 30 seats total.

Who it affects

This is targeted at:

  • Officers: O-4 (Major) through O-6 (Colonel), and CWO2 through CWO5
  • Enlisted: E-7 (Gunnery Sergeant) through E-9 (Master Gunnery Sergeant or Sergeant Major)
  • Civilians: GS-13 through GS-15

Priority goes to combat service support Marines and those working in logistics or innovation billets. Commands can nominate someone outside those grades if they send a justification email to the POCs. If you're within a year of retirement or end of active service, the MARADMIN specifically asks that you not apply.

What you need to do

If you or a Marine in your unit fits the profile, act fast. The nomination window closes in less than two weeks from this message.

  1. Submit a nomination NLT 25 March 2026 via the nomination form (open in Microsoft Edge, the link is case-sensitive): https://forms.office.com/r/9QtFgxBa5R
  2. Watch for selection notification from a POC by 30 March 2026. Notification goes to the email you provided in the form.
  3. If selected, confirm your attendance NLT 3 April 2026 via the RSVP link (again, Microsoft Edge recommended): https://forms.office.com/r/ZvFfNuh2YQ
  4. Book your hotel NLT 3 April 2026. A room block is reserved at the Courtyard Marriott Memphis Collierville (4640 Merchants Park Circle, Collierville, TN 38107). Reserve through the Marriott group link in the MARADMIN, or call (901) 850-9390. Check the MARADMIN for the full reservation URL if needed.
  5. Plan travel to and from Memphis International Airport (MEM) on your own. FedEx will provide transportation between the hotel and FedEx facilities during summit events.

Costs to know:

  • All travel and lodging is unit-funded. Your command pays.
  • FedEx collects a $100 landing fee on Day 1 to cover five days of breakfast snacks and lunches ($20/day).
  • No government lodging or messing is available.

Attire: Business casual throughout. No military uniforms required. Long trousers (no shorts or jeans), collared shirt, and closed-toe shoes. You will be inside FedEx HQ and walking active operational hubs.
