The Marine Corps has released the full schedule of RC non-statutory selection boards and panels for CY2026. These boards and panels will slate Marines for FY27 and FY28 assignments. Convening dates may shift slightly, and each board will get its own solicitation MARADMIN with specific eligibility rules and deadlines before it convenes.
Heads up: Your OMPF and Master Brief Sheet (MBS) are your responsibility. Get them clean before each convening date, and confirm your official photo is in there.
Who it affects
RC Marines who are eligible for, or planning to compete for, command billets, senior PME, the SgtMaj slate, or the Career Counselor of the Year panel. This does not apply to SMCR or IMA Marines who aren't in those pipelines, but if you have any shot at these boards in the next 12 months, read on.
What you need to do
- Find your convening date in the table below and put it on your calendar.
- Pull your OMPF and MBS now through the OMPF Record Management Application (O-RMA). Verify what's in there and what's missing.
- Confirm your official photo is included. Per MARADMIN 582/25, photos will be reviewed by all boards and panels listed below.
- Check O-RMA again within the 12-month window before your board's convening date to catch any additions or deletions.
- Watch for the individual solicitation MARADMIN for your board. That message will have the specific eligibility requirements and submission deadlines you have to meet.
