The March 2026 SNCO promotion MARADMIN is out. It sets the promotion numbers for this month and projects next month's, covering both the FY25 and FY26 selection lists. If you or your Marines are on a current SNCO list, this tells you where the cut lands.

Bottom line: Promotions are authorized effective 1 March 2026. Marines need an EAS of 28 February 2028 or later to be promoted, and OBS must be complete before their seniority number is reached.

Who it affects

Active duty SNCOs on the FY25 or FY26 GySgt, SSgt, 1stSgt/MSgt, and SgtMaj/MGySgt promotion lists. Reserve Marines tracking this should note it is an active duty promotion message, but the numbers and list status affect RC Marines who are on active duty orders or otherwise integrated into these lists. If you are on one of these lists, this is your month's data.

What you need to do

If you are a commander: you may effect promotions no earlier than 1 March 2026. Cite MARADMIN 067/26 as your authority.

If you are a Marine on one of these lists: check your seniority number against the table below, confirm your EAS and OBS are in order, and coordinate with your S-1 if your number is coming up.

OBS and sequenced PME requirements are detailed at the Enlisted Promotions site. Navigate to: manpower.marines.mil then Divisions / Manpower Management / Performance Branch / Promotion Section / Enlisted Promotions / SNCOs / Monthly Promotion Requirements.
